Hi everyone,

As every year we organized a free event for all our guests with free food and free drinks all night. We started with shows performed by the staff, followed by two free to enroll lucky draws, one for our guests and one for our staff with prices such as a free bottle of champagne or 5000 Baht. Then we all gathered on the sundeck, join by several people from outside to enjoy the best point of view for the midnight firework: the city launches one from the beach as well as all the big hotels, Aquarius is right in the middle and as usual, we have been surrounded big this great light show for more than 30 minutes.

The night continued outside of Aquarius, in the streets of the Paradise Complex where many events and parties were organized.

New year party in Aquarius

Hi everyone,

Yesterday was Loy Kratong, probably the most colorful and beautiful celebration in Thailand. Everybody dress up in traditional costume and make home made kratong (basket made out of banana leafs) to later release them in the water in order to get ride of everything bad that happened over the past year.

Here are the pictures we took during that day, starting by the Kratong making session in Aquarius during the day, then the party in the streets of Patong, followed with the release in Karon lac. You can see high definition pictures here on flickr.

Just a quick note to let you know that, as every year, we have checked/maintained and re-painted all the rooms and corridors during the low season in order to make it fresh and ready for your visit.

We just finished painting the last room. This year we decided to give up on the yellow collor and paint all the rooms in white. Definitely nicer. Let us know what you think about it during your next stay!

Repainting all the rooms

We replaced the second treadmill of the gym yesterday, so if you don’t feel like going to the beach for your jogging or if you just need to warm up, feel free to use it or the other one.

As every two weeks, we just had a big street party in the Paradise Complex. Aquarius took part of it with 2 shows in front of The Orchids Lounge performed by our staff.
